Default Oil Light Reverse light ect...

Ok not sure if this is the right forum but umm does any one kno where you get those little light bulbs in the back of you speedo guage. Cause i am missin an oil and some others. And i wat to make a v tec light for my tach. There was a DIY on here that i saw.

One more thing my reverse light is not working. The bulb is fine and the wire seems fine since the brake light comes on. I am wondering if there is something inturpting the sinal or a wire got disconnect that tells that the car is reversing to make the light come on.

for the light bulbs you might be able to get an old cluster like at a junkyard..i dont konw what year your car is but that would be the cheapest way...probably somehwere on the internet too...some one will chime in with that

for the reverse light..there is a switch that screws into your transmission that gives signal to the lights and all that junk...that switch could be out....i would check to see if you have any voltage commming out of the reverse light line first just so you dont have to go through the trouble of tracking down the reverse light switch...

here is that diy

If you are sure the bulbs are fine, then check whether fuse 19 in the under-dash fuse box is blown. You might also want to check whether the black ground wire coming from the backup lights is securely attached to the body framework.

Pull out the fuse and inspect it with back lighting. When it is burned out, the internal metal strip connecting the two terminals will be broken/burnt/severed. You can compare the fuse with a spare one that you know is good. If they look the same, the fuse is probably good. A better method, however, is to test for continuity across the terminals using a multimeter or continuity tester.
