i bought the car with it but the car was a basket case. i open the ecu up and saw the mugen brand chip. i thought mugen was a high dollar company? anyway how do ifind the specs?

the title is an eye catcher. although the person i bought the car from told me it was capable of 500hp. but im not too sure about that feat.

what do you mean, what the chip is capable of? if you don't notice anything spectacular (which you won't) then it's doing nothing. and a chip doesn't mean what a motor is capable of.

Freak the chip! Anyway is a VAFC II a good method to tuning a car? does it allow me to add and subtract air and fuel? or just gives me the readings for both. Im tryin to put all the pieces together while the motor is in the final stages at the machine shop. Suggestions on wideband o2 brands, managment system, hondata, aems. what has been ya'lls experience with ecu tuning and fuel management.

any advice is helpful

No the ecu is allready socketed get a person to burn you a chip dedicated to your setup. Roto on this forum has the ability to burn chips i think.
