Default Power Door Lock Problems

Heys guys any help here would be appreciated. I have a 2003 ex coupe. All of a sudden today I used my keyless entry to lock the doors and engage the alarm and it wouldn't engage however the headlights were flashing and I heard the doors locking. What I discovered was that my drivers door isn't locking from the remote. I then inserted the key and locked the door, hit lock on the remote and the alarm engaged. I then used the remote to unlock the both doors. But when I tried to lock them with the remote again, only the pass. side door locks. I then sat in the car and closed the door and noticed that when I push down on the power locks only the pass. side door locks and unlocks. However, I can now manually push down on the drivers side door lock to lock the door, which I was unable to do before. (I didn't force it). What could be wrong with my drivers side door. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the reply. Is it a real pain to get the door off?
