hey guys, how hard is replacing the fuel pump on a 92 civic hatch? on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being easy, ten being hard).in not very good with cars,but my friend thinks he is.i just dont want him to screw it up. any info would be greatly appreciated, e****ally how to do it.thanks.

 

depends on how much he knows...if he knows how to do it then it should be like a 3 maybe im being high....

take the rear seat out pull 3 screws out of the fuel pump cover and it is like 4 bolts and it pulls right out.

 

I wouldn't let some1 work on my car unless i knew that they know thier ****. The fuel pump on a civic is pretty easy. You luck out and don't even have to drop the gas tank.

Be careful pulling the housing out of the tank, don't wanna bend your fuel level reader(can't think of actual name).

 

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say 7.
