Default spark plug wire question

i just put 9.3 mm spark plug wires in my car. i was wondering if this would make any differance in performance. and if so, how much? i just want to soak up some knowledge from anyone on this forum willing to share this information.

Not really, it may give slightly better gas milage but as far as performance your car is fine with the stock ignition system untill you are making a good amount of power.

From all those mods you're probably putting down 178 WHP. JK. Performance wires wont give you gains unless the stock wires are old, and are failing.

i don't know if this is just a rumor but i heard there is better response time with 9mm wires, msd ignition and cap. is this true? or was an old friend of mine not knowing what he was talking about? and also what spark plugs should you go with?(figure changing the wires you'd also want to change the plugs)

It will get you better response but nothing too insane. It all depends on what other mods youve got done. I am still running the spark plug wires that came with my car lol. Prob about time to get some new ones.
