i just bought and OBD1 ECU with a spoon and chip and it had been tuned with upgraded air/fuel ratio, advanced timing and VTEC at 5000 how much power can i expect to gain going from OBD2 to that OBD1 ECU? thanks

umm.. i dunno how much hp ull get, but one of my friends put a spoon chip in his eclipse, and 30 secs later his engine was smoking, the chip made to much electricty go to the engine, and flooded one of his cylinders, so i dunno, from our experience, spoon isnt the best

 

spoon on an eclipse? thats the problem. spoon is designed for honda. the guy who started honda is the brother of the guy who started Mugen, and the guy who started Spoon is their cousin. so most of their parts are based on the honda/acura lineup. spoon is good stuff, but your chip probably isnt spoon. as for the b16a2, youll see a difference, but dont expect to be smoking corvettes.
