vtec

Default vtec

Now im throwing a knock sensor code but my car still engages vtec, but it feels like its not doing nothing, i hear it kick in but dont feel it, could it be bc of the knock sensor and also my vtec kicks in at 5800 and my friends kicks in at 5500, we both have b16a's, why is this?please help

on your head is a vtec solinoid etc.. a couple screws will remove it, there is a plunger type mechanizm inside and an oil filter screen... clean the screen and be certain you get a new gasket before you start...
