Default what are the best spark plug wires and plugs to use.

i own a 2000 honda civic ex i am currently using NGK wires and plugs. my question is... are stock oem plugs and wires the same or better than what im using, and how long do the NGK wires last. i've had them in for about almost 50K miles and want to know if i need to change them out and get oems or go for an aftermarket set. i don't have any upgrade on my engine except for i/h/e and a AEM camgear. thanks for any info.

check your owners manual and see when it says to change your plugs/wires. the NGK's should be better than OEM but OEM will be fine because you are not making much more power than stock and you really dont need a hotter/stonger spark. i would say 50k they should be fine for about 25k more... not really sure though. they could last over 100k but just to be safe check your manual.
