What EMS/FMU recommended
OK this summer I am looking for some type of ems/fmu to aid my upgrades... here's a list:
DC Sports - 4-2-1 & catback w/ Magnaflow HI-flo cat
Skunk2 IM and 62mm TB
Secret Weapon intake
Holley 255Lph pump
AEM fuel rail w/ FPR
UR pulleys
Optima Yellow Top
Hypervoltage system
Hyper ground system
NOS dry kit 70hp shot
PTE 310cc injectors
I had my eye on a Greddy E-manage Ultimate, but from what I've been reading many people have had problems with that (no matter what vehicle you put it on), of course I've also heard some horror stories about the AEM EMS for the 7th gen civics. I know I need something that will control injector pulses as the 310's may be overkill without the N2O, the E-manage Ultimate will do that, along with the EMS, I'm looking to spend the LEAST amount of money UPFRONT, keep in mind that includes cost of dynoing and install (if needed to be done by certified mech.) Also keep in mind that next summer I plan on upgrading the top and bottom end upping my comp ratio to ~11:1, getting the engine sleeved w/ some kind of blockgaurd as I will be adding a wet kit (looking to run a 100-150 shot). I DO NOT drive this vehicle in the winter so depending on how I do finishing up my IM conversion it will prolly only be running for 4-5 months.
