You found a non-virgin ECU. It's socketed for a chip and the ???? is a 4-pin header for data logging.

A real good buddy of mine used to put his computer part in his dishwasher, just make sure you dry it out completely. Either that, or he showered with parts too, weird.

Since your ECU was an auto and was converted and that it's no a virgin anymore, it's worth (to me at least) 40 bucks or so. If it was a virgin manual 100-110, virgin auto 80-90 bucks, and converted auto to manual 70-80.

In the shower I don't know what he used[:'(]. But he threw all his boards in an EMPTY dishwasher, no dirty dishes lol, and used regular dishwashing liquids.

Data logging is, well, for logging data. You can hook it up to a laptop and with the right software, you can tune your car live. It also allows you to see what's going on.

you can use any 28 pin chip (eprom). So, yeah, Hondata, Phearable, Crome.... ....they all have there ups and downs. I'm running a phearable chip simply because I don't have a turbo, so the advantages to getting Hondata aren't that great for me.
