How many gallons are left in my tank.

I would look this up in my owners manual but can't find mine.

I have a 2002 civic lx manual.

I use premium gas. I don't know if that makes a difference.

I just want to know how many miles I can go once the light comes on.

usually you have 40-50 miles until it runs out of gas (depending on mpg)

there usually is 1-2 gallons when the light comes on.

 

My light came on once and I made it 30 miles.

 

In no car that I have had has my light came on.... and I have ran out of gas like 5 times 3 of them this summer since I have no job

 

I have never seen my gas light come on in any of my Civics that I have owned (93 EX, 98 EX, and 99 EX).

My bro owned my 93 EX after I did and he ran it to nothing. I had to come out and take him to a gas station. He thought he could drive it until the gas light came on.... haha

 

I have a 99 HX and my gas light will come on when I am running low. I think the fartest I have pushed it after having the light come on was ~35 miles. I usually get about 37 mpg.

 

You are a very nice brother. If that happened to my brother I would have left him stranded just to get a laugh out of it. haha
