I want to swap a B16A1 into my civic but I have never done this before. Can somebody help me out and tell me everything I will need to do this. I am getting the following with the swap Engine,5spd Trans,Ecu, Alt,Starter,Manifolds PS. I just need to know what else I will need and maybe some pointers on where to get it. Thanks

 

You need to get a B16A2 man, the B16A1 has a cable tranny and your car is setup for a hydro tranny. You can do the swap but will have to convert your car to accept a cable tranny.

Or you could buy the swap sale the tranny and buy a OBD1 B series tranny. The swap you are talking about buying is OBD0 you will need to swap the dizzy cap also.

There are also a couple other small things that will need to be done to get the A1 in your civic but I am tired of typing. Give me a lil while and I will list everything but you will see why it is worth it to go ahead and get the A2
