Default 95 dx to si

can anyone tell me if it is to much trouble to switch a 95 civic dx engine to an 98 si doch. and what major modifications does it need.

98 wasnt DOHC. there was no SI in 96-98. but the 99-00 si engien will work pretty well for you. but if youre going to invest the money, look at a B18c1 from japan, it will have lower miles and be a bit more power than the b16. ive had both in my 95 dx, (well, the b16, like the 99-00 si motor, was a jap motor as well, but almost the same) and i can tell you, the GSR (b18c1) is well worth the extra time and money. and swaps about as easy. like 2 extra wires from a b16 swap. good luck, and hit us up for help. too bad youre not in Sacramento, i would be glad to help with a swap. gotta rep the 95s

oh, for 650, the si engine sounds pretty good. what all comes with it? you need a lot more than just the motor.
