i have a d16y7 in my 93 civic sedan and soon to have a d16z6 head on it. i was wondering if it will pull any harder at low rpm(before vtec) then my y7 does right now?? or will it jsut be differant after vtec?. i have crappy lx trans.

Personally I think you should try and find a z6 tranny to go with it. You can't beat how long the gears are. I can hit 75 in 2nd gear in my del sol.
