i have a 93 eg that i swapped a d16 into. it ran fine for about 6 months till it sat for 6 more months. now the engine fluctuates at idle. i checked for any vacuum leaks and i wasnt able to find any. please help. any ideas

 

clean out your iacv if it persists clean out your fitv
if you dont know how google is your friend to learn how to clean them
edit: also try running seafoam through it and check your timing

 

If it sat for a long time the gas might just be bad, try running it low and filling it up fresh. I dont think it would be your IACV or FITV since its been sitting, they wouldnt have had a chance to clog. Also try bleeding your coolant lines, air bubbles in the lines can cause an idle surge.
