Default I need help and input

Well I am new to the civic thing. I had a teg. and just sold my prelude. So heres the deal. I just picked up a 1994 cx hb. It is the cleanest one I have seen in a while. It has a perfact body and they put all brand new insides in it from a S.I. Oh yeah black ext. and black int. I love that. My plans for in is to black it out with black one piece headlights, black taillights,5% window tint, black 15 inch rota's not sure which ones, carbon hood and hatch and a front lip. I has side skirts and back bumper on it now and 17 inch rims. I like the sides and back bumper they are simple and clean not ricey lookin. That why I just want to put a lip on the front. It has a D15B7 motor in it and here is the things I just picked up and getting ready to install. A D16Z head p 28 ecu AEM cold air intake and a greddy 4-2-1 header and a greddy full exaust but I think I am going to run it staight with no cat. Any input would be helpful on what things I could do. This is just the beginning of my project so just let me know what you guy's think.

well there are many here much more knowleagable than myself, but I am doing a swap and I have dc headers runnin to greddy exhaust. I am definitely going with a high flow cat because it seems that 4 cylinder engines need a little back pressure to run properly. I think if you run straight pipe you will be dissapointed with how the motors runs. Also it will be ridiculously loud and if you plan on doing any trips with your car you will hate it quickly. I don't know where you live, but now that I am in iowa I don't have to worry about vehicle inspection, but i used to live in jersey and a car with no cat wouldn't pass because there would be to many pollutants coming out. So there are some reasons to spring the extra few bucks for a high flow cat. hope it helps and if I am wrong, somebody please correct me.

hmm, are yo u making it v-tec? you could get some headwork while its off, but by the time you get this its probly already on the car... you could always turbo it haha, your probly feeling a little faster than a stock b7 but not that much, i have a z6 swap in mine and my cousin has the stock b7 in his and he can still keep on my bumber fairly well.

So how much different did it feel? I would run a cat on your car, just purchase a high flow unit. The power adders you picked up sound good, what are your goals for hp, and driveability? Those should really make the decision on what mods your going to do.
