Use a B16 head and ITR cams.

What kind of # do you think it will put out with b16 head is it worth it.

How much you want? http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewtopic.php?t=3373

For a stock block I wouldn't hesitate to put 400whp on it with an efficient set up. For a less efficient set up, such as with a log manifold/cheap turbo, I wouldn't try to strain it past 350.

Also for a more budget build, crane has somegood cams out for LS heads. http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewtopic.php?t=3084

As you can see, torque starts falling off immediately after 5250, whereas with the B16/ITR cam set up you can expect torque to hold steady to about 8000-8500. But that's stilla nice powerband.

Whatever you go with just make sure it's tuned well.

The last post forum #3084 I wasn't to sure if his block was sleeved cause I read somewhere the stock ls block I got can only handle 300hp so it probley was sleeved I also read the b16 head alone adds 25 more hp to the block then stock engine.I don't really want to sleeve the block right now so I was trying to go 275-300hp.

I was reading on how to do the ls/vtes swap and it seems pretty hard drilling for knock senor and such I was think of a rework of my ls head with some crane cams as you suggested. To make it breath a little easier.

When people say stock block with Hondas they're usually refering to the rods and pistons. Stock sleeves will handle much more than these components. The set upthat you were refering tohas stock sleeves, and forged pistons/rods.

If it were me personally I wouldn't bother with forged internals though. I assume with those power goals this is a daily driver or street/strip vehicle. If you're worried about it just either don't run it so hard on the street, or if you can't stop yourself, get seperate tunes and run the lower one on the street, and the harder at the track. The motor should last you plenty long if everything is done right.
