Default ls-vtec swap

car is a 94 EG. swapped into an ls-v (B18B block w/ B16? head). got motor complete with ecu and harnesses that go to the ecu, but need help with wiring the other wires that would go to the driver-side harness. much help would be appreciated.

well.. first.. you dont know what head you have... second what year is the ls engine.. third if done right you would only need to wire in the Vtech.. so if you could give more details than maybe you could get some help..

What model EG do you have, is it a EX? SI? DX? BTW I hope you atleast put arp rod bolts in the LS cause if you didn't you better look into chipping your ecu and engauging vtec around 4400rpm and shifting around 7000rpm as the bottom end will fall apart on you above that if you run it up there to many times. Your piston speeds at 7000rpm on the LS stroke will be the same as the piston speed of a B18C at 8600ish rpms.

and besides the piston speeds, the bottom end isnt balanced for over 7K, so I second Marty. do at least a little bottom end work, or that thing will come apart on you sooner or later.
