Default Mini-Me & Auto to Manual Conversion

Well I'm about to do this and I'm looking at parts i need...my current car is a 95 dx hatch (d15b7)

Well i plan to sell my auto EG DX hatch w/ 34k miles and look for an EG Si/EX hatch with somewhat low miles or....

i plan to swap the tranny first...

Tranny Swap-
5spd tranny si/ex tranny (from a 92-95 hatch?)
d-series shift linkages
pedal assembly
clutch master with resevoir
hyd. master lines
lines from clutch master cylinder to slave cylinder
slave cylinder
92-95 5spd chipped p28 ecu
while im there..
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
flywheel (what brand, and 9lb or 12lb?)


estimated price?

Mini Me-
d16z6 Cylinder head
-including valve cover, dizzy
d16z6/y8 head gasket
d16z6 timing belt
d16z6/y8/skunk2 intake manifold
ARP headstuds
z6 header
new oem water pump
new oem Valve Cover Gasket
new oem Distributor cap and rotor
new oem spark plug wires
96-00 Civic d16y5 HX spark plugs
wire and plug for V-Tec oil pressure switch
while i'm at it new dizzy cap and rotor and new water pump

estimated price?

Can i do the mini me myself? If i can i will try, but i plan to pay a professional to do the tranny swap.

If i have forgotten something please mention it.

you should be able to do it yourself. but try to get a Y8 headgasket, its thinner, so it will bump your CR, and also try to get a Y8 inake manifold. it flows alot better.

If u plan on running boost, definetly get a thicker headgasket to LOWER compression. Oh and my advice would be to get some ARP headstuds while uve got the head off. Theyve got more muscle than stockers.......and are like 100 bucks.

true. i would suggest the ARPs for FI or NA either way.

ya il look into the ARPs and btw i dont plan to boost....daily driver who likes workin on hondas...

yea if u got the head off u mite as well upgrade anything u can when ur down there ya know?
