Newb d15b swap question
Hi everyone,
I'm planning on swapping a jdm d15b into my 1993 civic ex. But, it is the Canadian spec version, so it isn't wired for vtec (the canadian version runs the 102 hp d15b7 non-vtec series engine and not the d16Z6 engine). I am looking at buying a complete swap (ecu, transmission, engine, etc) and was wondering how much work it is to wire the vtec for the new engine, or if it is even necessary considering I will have the original ecu for that engine. If the wiring is required, doesn anybody know where I can get diagrams for it online.
Other than that, I was wondering if everything else is also a direct bolt-in. I know this question has been asked before, but I have a different engine because it is canadian spec, so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
