Default 98 Engine Swap

Hey,

Well originally I was going to just super charge my stock engine and be done with it but Ive come to find I can't get it insured so I can't do it. What I can do is swap the engine with any engine I want. Now I don't know the first lick about JDM engines and such. I have been reading about them and thinking about something like: http://www.teknotik.com/product_sect...disp.php?id=61 or http://www.teknotik.com/product_sect...disp.php?id=37. I want decent power out of this car and still be able to preserve the awesome handling. I was thinking a prelude engine but many have said I will lose a lot of handling capability. It is a 98 Civic EX 4 door and the stock engine is wimpy. Along with it I will have at least a full catback exaust with 4-2-1 Megan racing headers/CAI and maybe some other things. ANY insight would be appreciated and thanks for your patients.

Jeff

looks nice. i hear the b16 is a good choice for ease of swap and expandability. that site seems pricey tho. hate to say it but ebay has better prices on the same stuff in that department. damn you ebay!

I will say this, if you swap dont go from a 1.6 to a 1.6, atleast get a B18B of a B18C1. And that B16B CTR swap is a absolute joke IMO. A B16A swap with a set of cams will put out that mutch power.
