my opinion is to just do the complete swap because i believe it would be easier to just swap a complete engine than to take them both apart and then swap everything over.
and that aways if anything was to happen with the new swap you have your old engine as a spare to just swap back in really quick

the only thing with a mini swap is you would have higher compression.

not to mention the mini-me swap is cheaper, and doesn't require an engine hoist...
