hey guys i have a 97 civic dx coupe, and i just bought a d16y8 motor out of a 99 civic ex. the y8 motor has low compression so i am going to motor rebuild on it. should i go with a standard rebuild or spend the money to bore it out and get bigger pistons? would i get enough horsepower to justify spending the money to bore it out?

 

i was also wondering if there is anything small that i could do that is cheap, that would get me like 10hp or more. since i am going to be tearing apart the motor anyways. might as well upgrade some stuff while I'm down in there. any advice helps
