Default engine swap question

i currently have a 1999 civic ex and i plan on getting a b18c(hopefully type r). if i get bolt ons for my d series, cold air intake ect, will that fit the b18? or should i just save up money and get the b18 first and then get bolt ons? its probably a stupid question but i wasnt sure. thanks

Buy the swap first. The exhaust manifold will not fit the new motor. The intake should fit, and your exhaust system will fit...maybe some tweaks will be needed.
