Yeah. That's another perk of the B18C5's. The stock type R trannies have LSD's. That'll definitely save you a lot of pain and suffering.

B18C5 makes 195whp in a Teg type R. Also, have you ever done an engine swap before? If you haven't, an H22 is NOT a good one for newbs, even if you have directions and have seen it done before. A B-series on the other hand is pretty much a one step process. If you were to compare the two, you would find that the B18 is a lot funner to drive, since it pushes about the same amount of power without the huge weight gain, and it's fun as hell to drive since it's so rev-happy. Overall, B18C5 = faster.
Yeah I've done a couple of swaps before so the H22 wouldn't be that big of a deal. However, I think you guys have pretty much convinced me that the B18C5 would be an easier and faster way to go. Sacicons do you have pics of your B18 swap? Please post!!

Is that a C5? It's got quite a large price tag compared to most of the other engines on there.

Good call man. BTW, that's not a B18C5. B18C5's came in Integra Type R's from 98-01. That engine is just from a JDM Teg SiR (~175whp, 125tq).

Or try these guys (they're where I usually get my engines to swap). They don't have their stock list online, but trust me, they're legit, they have tons of engines, and free shipping (depending on where you live):

The engine looks real nice, but I still can't get over the price tag. I'm probably going to have to wait quite a bit longer to get the swap unless i get a super high paying job. Oh and do you think they would ship free to NC? I'm guessing not since they are in WA.

Yea the H22 will definately mess up your handling, mess up your suspensions and you will go through axels like never before and mind you they are expensive because the axles are specially made for this swap from hasport or atleast i think thats where i got mine. Also you have to modify your shift box to fit the prelude shift box and linkage, etc. So get ready to f*** the inside up. Then you have to modify your engine mounts; eliminating one and adding another...it sucked. plus the mounts are like $500 from hapsort..its not a cheap swap.
But anyway i got a question....i put the H22 in my 95 civic and there's a special radiator from another car, make, model, year and everything, that your supposed to implement with the swap. Anyone know what year, make, and model car im supposed to steal the radiator from for my 95 civic h22 swap? I heard i was supposed to get the Accord 93, 94, or 95, radiator for the swap but i want a confirmation. Thanks.

Man that's a lot of cash when you can build a turbo kit for half what an engine swap costs... and it requires a lot less ****ing around.
