Default H22 Swap

I dont want to know whether or not the conversion is a bad idea or not. I just want to know what is involved with doing a H22 conversion on a 1998 Civic Hatchback. Those that have seen pictures of my car will know that it is not an everyday driver and I am not concerned with handling issues. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Two words: Frame Modifications

Oh, that's besides the new mounts, custom axles, and just about eveything else.

Actually, let me correct myself. I didn't see what year your car was. You shouldn't need to chop the frame at all; just the mounts and axles should be the only parts you need (besides the wiring and ****).

H22 is bad *** in an integra. my buddy has one in his GSR, and it looks like it was supposed to be there, unlike in a civic, where it sits too far forward and at a funny angle.

yea it would be really bad in a civic or integra but is all the work really worth it? i think it would be better to go with a b-series swap and spend the extra time on that motor, but you werent asking for our opinions. it would take alot of work but i did hear through the grapevine that hasport is coming out with a mount kit for a H22 in a civic so that would solve on problem, but you would still have to find axles to fit

I swaped an H22 into my 96 and still have p/s and a/c. It's a tight fit, but it does fit. I love this swap. Lot's of power!!!
