Im dropping a b18c into a 97 civic ex. which mounts do you guys recommend, Innovative, Avidor Hasport?

 

hasports if youre rich.

 

are the Hasport mounts really worth the extra $100 over the Innovative?

i forgot to mention that this is a daily driver. i put over 100 miles on the car daily.

 

for my car, that would be yes, but Im a firm believer in getting what you pay for.

Get nothing less! I have the Hasports and the quality & fit are perfect. They are simply pieces of artwork. They are awesome!!! LoL. I know I'm going crazy now but it's true. I can't speak for the other brands. However, I have heard many horror stories where the mounts didn't fit...ex: crooked motor or bolts not lining up and worse....under hard driving I have even seen broken mounts at the welds before. In my mind this is a place where you don't want to skimp out and get the budget stuff. GET THE GOOD STUFF!!!! HASPORT!!!

you might find the others are too stiff for daily driving.

 

If you don't go Hasport then this is the ONLY other way in my mind. My Hasports do get annoying in long slow traffic days(alot of rattle and vibration) but the performance overcasts the vibrating any day of the week.....that is if you want the performance.

 

This was a good topic' I have my original still on my 96 ek but 1 of em is bad and its time to change em' ive been looking at the avids. and iam not to happy with the fact that the hasport vibrates and rattles' iam sure all aftermartket will do that but WHAT IF i leave the factory ones instead?

 

i called2 different shops that sold hasport and innovative.both recommended innovative, so i picked up a set of innovative billet mounts for only $329 shipped. i read too many posts on some forums about the avid mounts.

i only have a few more odds and ends to pick up before i can drop the motor in. thanks for everyones responses.

 

what about the advid mounts?
