Default need help 96 civic engine swap
I have a 96 civic dx with a d16y7 engine im looking to upgrade to a bigger or better engine does anyone have any ideas

without struggle there is no progress

you could install a y8 vtec head, intake manifold, ecu and and either get an adapter or wiring harness
that would add like 30 hp i think
or you could do a b18 swap, b16 swap, h22 swap theres a couple others

B16A2, or B18C1 (better IMO) if you want to go turbo, B18C5 if you want to keep it naturally aspirated.
