RE: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN B16A EG AND B16A EF?
the ef is obd0 and the eg is obd1 and the ek is obd2. i would go with a b18c, but thats just me. and get an obd1 or 2 motor. if you get an obd2 motor convert it to obd1. this is for performance reasons. the obd2 ecu isn't good for tuning. run your car with a obd1 cromed ecu. and to make a b16a, ab16b than you would need differnt pistons, head gasket, cams , and intake manifold, and imo it's not worth the hassel good luck with whatever you do

umm please turn off caps, it jsut annoys me when it's all in caps.
EF will be the 88-91 years running OBD0, EG 92-95 OBD1, EK 96+ OBD2a/b.
If I could I'll get the EG 92-95 OBD1 whice is a B16A2 engine. If you can't find a 92-95 B16A2 jsut get a B16A2(OBD2) 99 si's or the 96+ SiR and get a ECU jumper cable with a OBD1 ECU just like civicB18c5 suggested.
