y8 head

i got what i would believe is a y8 head in the mail yesterday but want to make sure im not getting screwed over is there anyway that i can tell?

There should be a code stamped into the metal somewhere. I think it's P2J.

It's a Y8 head for sure. I dunno what the -6 is for, but I know that a lot of Y8 heads have -5, -6, -7, even -2 after them. Is there a 96/97/etc on it? I think that number might be the year of manufacture.
