Default 01 civic lx swap options

I have a 01 civic lx and might want to do a swap but I amkind of low on money. I really like the idea of getting a K20A swap but its very expensive. Or should I just stick to the engine I have, rebuild it, forge it, and turbo it? Is it possible to get 350 hp out of a stock engine that has been rebuilt, forged and turbo?
Could I also get a list of all engines that will swap into my car. Thanks

What about the second option rebuilding and turboing the stock engine?

you have one of the WORST engines for performance aftermarket support. I don't know the details of them well enough to know the maximum power that people have gotten out of them, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say 350hp would be ridiculously expensive if it's even possible.

You could most likely buy the 2008 Type-R if you sold your 01 and used the money you would waste on the engine.... I also suffer from the 7th Gen LX curse and I will only dream about the day I get a k series in there... I will most likely do a k24 with k20 head. Cheaper.

He's up to 350 hp now, ridiculous. I think the worlds fastest d17 has400+ hp. Anyway its expensive to turbo your car and get 350 hp. It will end up being cheaper toswap in a k series.

yeah he has $20k into the engine?! yikes.

if you really want to make 350hp on a more reasonable budget.... save up for k20+boost

or sell your car, buy an older swapped honda and boost that

You can swap in whatever honda motor you want. K, B, or F series means 'custom".............and "custom" sure as hell aint cheap.
