The only engine that will swap into a 7th Gen are the K series, any other's require extensive modification of the support structure that would end up compromising the structural integrity of the car. so they can't be done

The K24 has less hp but more torque and CONSIDERABLY cheaper than the k20

guy's you're all talking about the k20 -> 7g swap like its like putting a GSR in an EG. it is not even close to that simple. read 'how to's on any honda website and you will realize that the k20 is indeed the easiest engine to put in a 7G...but that doesnt make it 'easy' by any means. theres still quite a bit of custom work and a lot of re-wiring and modifications to be done to both the engine and car. its not something an average garage mechanic could tackle without some serious help and lots of work

that being said...a k20 to 7g isnt worth the money or headache. sell your 7G and buy an earlier generation and swap in an H22 or GSR, then put that money you would have otherwise spent on the K20 into a good turbo kit, internals, and tune, and dollar for dollar you will run laps on any k20 swapped 7G.

I know the swap isnt going to be easy but I have all the help I need. My problem is just affording the engine. And I really dont want to sell a car that is in perfect shape and that I only bought about 7 months ago.Plus I want to have something unique.I will look into that K24 but still would rather have a K20.
