Welcome to the forum! I don't have an answer for you but there are a few 4th gen civic owners around here who might. Good luck!

p.s. did you pick up a haynes/chilton's manual yet? you;re going to want one!

Welcome aboard, this is a somewhat uncommon concept for us. We're used to hearing "how do i make my car fast on the street."

Anywho, I've never taken off the intake manifold before, but looking at my Hayne's it looks fairly self explanitory. Maybe take a picture of yours and post it up so we can see exactly what you're working with.

Well guys i did it i removed my intake manifold(to port & polish) along with fuel rail(to polish) & distributer(to see if it's any good)! I also gutted the inside of the car! I did follow Hayne's and it explained everything very well!! When I bought the car it wouldn't stay running & I believe it has a bad ground possibly where the grounds connect to the resistor !! I'm not too sure what's going on with the car but hopefully I can get her up & running!! Any advice will truly help me out!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!

Awesome, I know what you mean, 4 months ago I knew how to check my oil and that was it; now I'm talking about doing autocross next season!

About your problem where it won't stay running: look around the "general tech help" section and you will find many posts about mysterious stalling problems, that will give you some ideas of what to check for. Good luck!
