The engine from a si is the K20a3 and it will fit, but it is NOT a direct fit... but there are faster k series engines, though.... you should look into a k24 or the k20a2 or a1 from the Acura RSX.... just like anything with cars, you put something nice into it, you must upgrade EVERYTHING as well.... you should search around on the forum especially up top in the stickies, they usually have info on the massive shopping list needed for the swap. Goodluck!

i was wondering how much horse i would get if i just kept the d17a1 and just bought a cold air, header, full exhaust, high flow fuel filter/pump,regulator, and a throttle body. i have no clue what would help my slow civic. and im afraid of a turbo cause i might need new lifters or whatever their called that hooks to the piston [sm=dontgetit.gif]
