Holy ****, you guys need to stop following martys lead just cause he has 8,000 posts. Dont be so ****ing harsh to this guy. Tell him its not a good idea to build a civic to beat another guys car and leave it at that. If he wants to, hes going to, and your not gunna be able to do **** about it. You could turbo your civic and it would stand a chance to beat the stang, but it will cost a lot of money, and its not a good idea to just start doing the turbo modification, esp when you dont know what youre doing. If youre serious about it go buy some books and start reading. This way you have the know how to tackle the task. I mean think about this.......you dont know how to swim at all.....well you wont go right off the high dive....1 step at a time. Hit the library.

I got to agree with everyone if you want to build your car and make it faster do it, but do it for the fun of enjoyment and to give yourself the feeling that you accomplished something. but if your that set on it as pete said hit the books and study up

Hitting the books is the best way to do it. Or you could go the worst way.....try to do it yourself with 0 knowledge, buy crappo parts because you dont know any better, blow your engine up, waste a lot of time and money...then try it again.

soo let me get this straight u guys are doggin on a guy that wants to boost his car so he can beat a few cars on the street...i think that why almost everyone on here(or on the street) does that to there car, thats why i got a boosted civic was to crush STI's an evo's why else would anyone on the road make there cars fast ...that not "ricing out ur car at all" makin ur car clean an hella fast is not rice....i think u guys need to re look up the definition
