5th gen performance upgrades?

Default 5th gen performance upgrades?

if i am looking to get a 5th gen civic, and i want to get the most for my money in performance upgrades,would you say it would be better to do a motor swap or toturbo the stock engine?

Depends on which stock engine you are talking about. Really the only stock 5th gen motor worth putting a turbo on is the D16Z6. But if you have the cash just go with a swap because later on you can turbo the swap and get some awesome power.

well since i am just starting to look at hondas, i dont know that much about them yet. What would be the best motor to swap in there? and could you give me a guestimate on price? thanks.

uuhhh....since you dont have on yet...try to find a civic si, i know its a civ forum but, if you can find an integra gsr, then get one. but the best swaps would be the k20, b18c1, b16. theyll range anywhere from 5-2000 bucks. most the b motors shouldnt exceed 4000 bucks though.

^k series swap will be more^ the motor itslef is usually more than 5k
