ok first off lemme say this is the first place ive gone tosince sending a rod through my block not30 mintues ago. i own an 89 crx dx...the motor just went over 300,000 so im not suprised, just pissed. but i do have a D15B8 motor and head sitting in the garage, aside from all the other **** i gotta buy i need an ecu, and i have no idea what a PM7 or OBD is or which one will wrok for this motor, now ive been told this motor is out of a hatch back if that is at all helpful. another script under neath the motor id tag on the block is this..........2602117 ...code i suppose like a block vin i suppose, please help before i push my car down the street and jump in and let myself get hit by a semi

 

D15B8 is out of a 5G CX, so it's not going to be a direct-drop swap (i.e. it'll be more trouble than it's worth). You'd spend less money just buying a used, low-mileage engine.

 

yea, kappa is right. u might as well sell that engine or what's left of it. it's so not worth the effort. just get another engine dude.
