Default 92 civic needs ECU(ECM), where to get it?

Sorry, I just posted this message under wrong forum section (general ). Now I post it in tech help. Hopefully someone out there might help me find where to get a good, low pricedECU with better waranty. My search turned out that used one has only 3months to 3yrs warranty.

It's electronic, so it pretty much works forever unless a rare failure occurs. A three month warranty from a reputable supplier would be sufficient to ensure you have a good one. Call local salvage yards first.

Called local junk yard, Ask $100.00 for the ECU. No warranty. No return if it won't work. I don't feel comfortable to go with it. What you think?

Keep shopping....

A lot of ECU's do get replaced when the problem is really something else. How sure are you that you need one?

I posted this in your other thread in the general forum:
What are the numbers off of the old unit? Ex: 37820-P0x-xxx
Areman computer from Standard Ignition will cost close to $250 plus a $75 core charge with a 1 year warranty.
But mk is right, these ECM's rarely go bad
