Default 92 civic engine swap q

this is going to be stupid, but...
anyone ever hear of turning a civic into rear wheel drive? how about installing a non-honda engine? i'm thinking something rediculous like a small-block chevy engine from back in the day! i realise there would be some engine mount issues, but... i don't know, just thinkin. any ideas? insults? i'm looking at you, back-yard mechanics!
Thanks

It can be done, but it will costs lots of money and take lots of time. I wouldn't recommend it. If you want to drop a small block in, you will pretty much have to build a frame and put a civic shell over the frame like a real dragster. It IS NOT easy.
