Default 93 Coupe EX auto V tech?

Does this care have the V tech engine? I can't find anything that clearly states it, like the 5 speed coupe I looked at.

it was cast into the Valve cover.

That is weird. That 93 oughtto have the same valve cover as the 94, but anyway, looks like a vtec to me. That little solenoid on the passenger rear of the valve cover is the vtec giveaway.

Thanx for the informational reply with out any smart comments! I was just curious because I'm new to Honda's and pretty much anything with pistons

The way to see if it's absolutely a VTEC motor is if you find the engine code that is located on the engine. To find it, look at the headers. Now look at the left most pipe where it connects to the head. Now look on the head a little lower and and little to the left. You should see a badge with a code on it. It should read D16Z6. If it does, it's a VTEC motor.
