i have a 99 ex with i/h/e and i just bought a new head gota PnP and s2 valves,valve springs, valve retainers, cam shaft, cam gear, and obd1 conversion harness how much of a gain in whp should i expect?

 

you should be putting down bolt on B16 power

 

so you would say about 150-160whp?

 

around 140whp

 

my friend just built his motor its a b16 block with the type r head and a PnP with and gsr transmission would i be able to keep up with him? i dont think i would be able to if not about how many cars would he beat me by in the 1/4 mile?

 

well that is hard to say but if you put your new head on, convert to obd1, tune with crome, and add like a 50 to 75 shot wet n2o setup you would beat him I'd say.

 

yea i am converting i have the conversion harness but i need to order the ecu. and i plan on getting a **** good tune. ohh by the wayis thes2a good header i know they make them but i dont know if i want to order the dc or s2

 

look for a hp racing header I think it is called.

 

are u talking about a 140 hp gain or your new hp would be about 140

 

do you have any stickers or emblems, after market oil caps, battery tie down, ? they help gains hp too
