anyone have any experience with the B18C1

Default anyone have any experience with the B18C1

i've been looking at different motors and this one seems pretty good, any of you guys have any opinions about it?

i love mine , very reliable with a very good ammount of power and it responds really well to bolt ons. theres a lot of aftermarket parts for the gsr also and its not that hard to swap in to a civic.

id say if I could have any B series engine to drive w/ only bolt ons, it would be the GSR.

will i need to get the matching transmission, if so does it come in automatic because my car is automatic

Generally you need to use the trans ment for it but some companies make adapterplates that allow you to use another transmission. Switch to manual.

why should i switch to manual? people keep saying that, i need a better reason than its cool, are there any performance improvements or anything like that?

You accel faster.... Humans can shift faster than a computer can. Auto's also can't take as much hp as a manual trans can.
