auto vtek?

Default auto vtek?

is it possible to put a v-ek in to a auto trans? im thinkin of puttin a b16a2 into my 96 cx can i keep my auto trans? its either the swap or spend about 2 grand on mods any advice would be great.thx troy

yes.
you'll have to get a b-series auto tranny though. i'm pretty sure you have a d16. and a d-series trans won't go on a b-series engine.

whats the point of swapping a b series motor and keeping the Auto tranny? Also, its v-tec

ya i no ,y go auto,,lol its just a preference,,so be gentle,,so its a yes then,, well thats good news,,does the trans have to be same year?? prob not ,,

I think you can still get an auto trans, it just has to be from a B series engine.

I'm thinking the only auto B series is an automatic B18. You would need the engine and tranny... The B series engines won't fit together with a D series tranny.
