Default Auto 98 EX vs Auto 96 Integra LS?

Title pretty much says it all. Just wondering how much it would take for my 98 auto EX to beat a stock auto 96 integra LS in a typical "race from the stoplight" situation... the LS belongs to a (moron) guy that I know; he thinks he's the best sh*t since sliced bread. On second thought, I suppose it doesn't really matter. If I did beat him, he'd just make up a million excuses and then blow by me some other day on the road when I didn't see him coming and say "see I told you so" later. I'm sure you guys know the type. Normally I don't even care about "racing" people, but sometimes there's a guy that's just so stupid and annoying that you just want to shut him up. Know the feeling?

Anyway sorry about the mini-rant, thanks for any input

Oh yeah I almost forgot, his car is stock EXCEPT for the see-through ricer tail lights [:'(]

Seriously? Admittedly I'm a n00b, but I didn't think it would take all of that to make up for 15 extra hp... and I've already got a good 200 lb lead on his car (100 stock, plus all of his extra stereo crap)

Then again maybe you were joking?

he was kind of joking. but that WOULD be enough to beat him if he is stock, then with intake, header, and exhaust, you should take him pretty bad.

Yeah he's stock with 14" or 15" steelies and ricer tail lights as far as I know. I've never actually had a peek under his hood but I've known the guy for a while and I'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything with it.

I sort of figured he was joking but I wasn't sure. I have no plans for N20, it makes the baby jesus cry

if you want to mod your car, mod your car, but don't do it (or anything for that matter) just to impress someone you don't even like

Oh if I do any mods, it won't be because of him. Beating him would just be a nice bonus
