yes and no. the b16a is the japanese b16a1 and the b16a2. its the same code, but the jap A2 has slightly higher compression, and is obd1 or 2.

i was just looking at options for my 89 civic hatch....i was thinking b16a1 because the car is already light the b16 will make it a good contender....but if thats not fast enough b18c1 or c5 will have to do
