in the long run youd be happier with the GSR because it has more torque and stuff.

yeah.

GSR with an SIR head = good idea.

The B18 will have more torque and will respond better to mods.

b18 swap will cost upwards of 3K if your getting it installed. Dont underestimate the SOHC slammer power. A turbo kit will cost you a grand. Tuner toys rods adn SRP pistons will run ya 500 bucks.........professional installation will run you another grand for both.......and a dyno tune fo 300WHP will be abother 500 bones.

GS-R swap $3500 (installed) 180 Horsepower
Boosted D series. $3,000 for 300WHEEL HORSE POWER. So ya save 500 bucks? No. You spend it on upgrading the fuel system. (I.E. injectors, fuel pump) BUT! You have 120 more WHEEL HORSEPOWER. Big differnce than HP. If youre thinking of a swap and u have cash on hand..............boost will be better.

-The End.

the thing about rocking the d is you get to a point and just cant go any further because of the less aftermarket support. with the B there are pretty much endless possibilities

Im a fan of the GSR if there isnt a real price limit. Its more expensive, but it offers more options farther down the road.

But if price is an issue, there are plenty of ways to make a wicked speedy D series, like Pete said.

Abd as for the SiR or GSR, the GSR has a stouter bottom end, which is more boost friendly, but the SiR has a better head. You can mix the two components for a pretty damn good engine, it just depends on what you want out of your car.
