Default B16 or GSR head on D16Y8

newbie question here but would I notice a power difference if I put one of those two heads onto my D16 engine? If so, how much more? What else would I need for the mini-swap? Is it worth it? Prices?

u will notice that it wont work. No sorry b series heads do not fit on d series blocks but if you ever could get it to work i am sure there would be quite a performance gain. Just boost the y8 if you want more power.

yea of coarse your going to get **** for asking a question like that but its ok, anyways you can build your own turbo kit for as little as 1.5k-2k or you can buy one that will cost 3k+. Then you have to spend more money on getting your car tuned and buying something to tune your car. So if you chip your ecu or buy a whole new one so that you can tune it, its going to cost atleast $200 for ecu and then lest just say $500 for the tune/dyno time. You will also need new spark plugs, injectors(depending on how much hp your shooting for), and a wider exhaust(2.5-3 inches). Everything I mentioned would suit a low boost application such as 180-200hp. Turboing your car cost a lot of money and will probably cost around 4k-5k after all is said and done. Don't cheap out cause you will just end up paying for it anyways with repairs.

Do some more research, doesnt even look like you google search "honda civic turbo kit" to get an idea of how much one would cost.
