b16 Stock... where to start
ok so i have a b16 engine on a p28 ecu on my 1993 del sol.
I don't know where to start, i want to start modding this engine so i can get as much hp out of it as possible.
should i start with high performance plugs and wire sets? (NGK)
or maybe i should invest in a distributor cap with external coil (MSD)..
Currently im looking to start out small (from wires,plugs,filters,etc..) then move on to bigger things like (pistons, turbo, etcc..)
maybe chip my ecu???
i need advice!!!!!

Do not waste money on the ignition system. The stock ignition system can get you pretty far in a Honda. Forget about the MSD, "hi performance" wires, and "hi performance" plugs.
If you are stock, stay stock on the plugs and wires for now.
Starting out small may seem the logical idea, but smaller things tend to get replaced by bigger things down the road, thus wasting your money. It is best to figure out the following before buying anything.
-What kind of power are you expecting in the end?
-How much money do you think you will want to spend?
-How much do you know about upgrading a motor?
Chipping your ECU is not required unless you need a tune. By the sounds of it, it looks like you will need to read up on alot of things before making any decisions on purchasing.
