Hello a freind is offering me a B16 vtec for 1000 bux i wanna what kinda gas milage can i expect to see if i do the swap im really dependant on gas milage because i drive to work about 50 miles a day one way

ha ha. the b 16 is a 1.8? i cant remmember. just as long as you control yourself you should be fine. maybe 32mpg (guessing) but your going to want to see what that bastard can do. the b16 roars the sound alone is worth it. plus a b16 usually runs for alot more than 1k

 

i think it's 28mpg.....how many miles does it have on it? is it a complete swap?

 

yeah, i got around 27-28 with mine (highway/city mix)

 

That's still good gas mileage as far as I'm concerned.

 

i think its in the 50k milage range a freind has it hes thinking of selling it thats 1k including tranny

don't forget to get the ecu and shift linkage and axles too

plus the b16 is a 1.6

 

theres all small change turns out the engine is a b18 with a b16 head wut kinda milage can i expect on that?
