hey guys i currently have a b16 and want to start modding. so far it has i/h/and 2.5 in exhaust. now i've seen guys making up too 400hp on their b16s but guys tell me you have to have money for that. so whats the cheapest and most reliable way to make crazy horsepower. i know i need a turbo but what engine would give the best results. i was looking at b18c5 but i guess there a little pricey? whats your input?

 

Just use the engine you have now unless you have the money for a new engine and turbo.

 

You b16 is perfectly fine for boosting. However, dont boost over 8psi and get a good tune or you get to pay about $3500+ like I am currently doing to my b16

i have it already. i see some guys making like 400hp out of their b16. in the end isnt it cheaper to just buy a b18 and do mods to that? or is there good mods besides turbo to get me up there?

i have a b18c and i am trying to boost it i have the whole turbo kit but its alot more then just a kit. its alot of tuning and money and time. i am going to use the hondata s200 computer

 

so it is possible to make 400+hp with my b16...? what mods would i have to do to make it withstand more than 8 PSI?
